Bethel Blessings April 13 & 14
NEW MEMBER CLASS: Sunday, April 14th OR Sunday, April 28th there will be a class with Pastor John on what this congregation believes and what activities are going on. It will be held in Pastor John’s office at 10:30am. The New Members can then join on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th with a welcoming spaghetti dinner on Saturday, May 4th.
ALL CHURCH LUNCHEON: Everyone is welcome to enjoy a lovely lunch in the Christ Center after worship on Sunday, April 14th.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Do you like to SMILE? Do you love to MEET and CONNECT with people? Then you’re the perfect candidate to be a GREETER or a WELCOME CENTER HOST at Bethel! Greeters meet everyone at the main entrance before the service and Welcome Center Hosts get to know our visitors after the service! We’d love to have you be a part of our TEAM and we are excited to give you all the tools you will need!

MEN’S MINISTRY BREAKFAST: Saturday, April 20th 7:45am in the Christ Center
BETHEL CARS & COFFEE: Bring your classic, collector, or unique car or truck to the Bethel Spring Cruise-in at the Bethel Church West parking lot. You are welcome to join us for some coffee, donuts and “car talk” on Saturday, April 27th from 9:00am – 11:00am.
BETHEL SPRING CLEANUP: Saturday, May 4th from 8:00am – 11:00am. Please come and help make Bethel look great for the summer! Reconnect with people you haven’t seen in a while. Come early, come late, come for 1 hour, but please come! Things needing attention include: leaf raking, columbarium cleanup, sweeping, branch pickup, trash pickup, minor tree trimming, prepping lawn mowers for the summer, winterizing snow equipment, weed killing, window cleaning, dusting and vacuuming. Please bring your own rakes and supplies if you have a favorite. Donuts, juice and coffee will be provided.
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ALL AGES
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL (Ages 4 thru 5th grade): Come learn where you can experience God’s greatest gifts. We start at 10:30am in the Christ Center.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: June 10-14 Bethel will be having VBS from 9:00am – 12:00pm for Kindergarten through 5th grade kids. The theme is “Scuba Diving Into Friendship With God”.
CONFIRMATION (All 7th thru 9th graders): Come join Pastor John in a faith building journey at 10:30am downstairs off the Christ Center. We will be meeting on April 21st and May 5th.
YOUTH GROUP (Grade 6th – 12th): We will meet at 5:00pm on Sunday, April 14th for PowerPoint Night. Sunday, April 21st we will “Build Your Own Burger”.
ADULT BIBLE CLASS: Located in the Faith Forum where Pastor Dan is teaching the “Bethel Bible Series” at 10:30am.
UPDATES ON GROUPS AND BIBLE STUDIES
(In the interest of not receiving the same repeated information each week, the Bethel Blessings will now show UP-TO-DATE information and then once a month add all the groups and bible studies back into the email and internet postings. You can also find all dates and times on the website and on the Bethel App.)
CONNECTIONS GROUP: This group is targeted at singles and couples in their 50’s and 60’s plus. It is a fellowship and discussion group of mutual support, laughter, food, and fun. The next time we get together is Friday, April 19th at 6:30pm.
DINING OUT GROUP: We meet on the 4th (last) Monday of the month. This month we will meet on the 22nd at Paravicinis Italian, 2802 W Colorado, 80904.
Ruth Bible Study: We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 9:30am - 11:00am in the Library. The Bible Study is “Life Lessons from Daniel and Esther” by Max Lucado. We would love to have you join us.
