Through the generous support and donations of our Church Partners, local businesses, and community partners, Mercy’s Gate offers our neighbors access to a food pantry that supplies healthy, nutritious food as well as meal suggestions and nutritional resources. Our Food Pantry is organized much like a small market and our Volunteer Team works with neighbors as they make food selections. Mercy’s Gate Food Pantry is designed to provide an emergency food supply, providing food relief for up to three days per person per household. People can visit our food pantry up to four times annually. Non-perishable food donations for Mercy’s Gate may be brought to Bethel and dropped off near the front doors.
If you enjoy cooking, fellowship, and working as part of a ministry group, serving on the Bethel meal team might be a great opportunity for you! During service hours, all neighbors seeking our services enjoy a hot, healthy meal and fellowship with our team of volunteers. Our meal teams commit to providing the food for a meal, cooking, and serving the meal to our neighbors. Meal teams also sit with, fellowship with, and pray with our neighbors as we seek to love them and serve them in Jesus name. Bethel’s Meal Team will be providing breakfasts and lunches on the 4th Thursday of the month. If you are interested in working as part of the Bethel meal team, please contact Margaret Curnow.
