Military BibleSticks: After hearing so many stories from deployed service members and veterans alike, one thing is abundantly clear: Bethel and other churches are really making a difference! Over one million service members and veterans have received God’s Word on the Military BibleStick thus far, and it’s all because churches like Bethel have consistently prayed and provided. With around 180,000 men and women entering and leaving the service every year, the need for God’s Word among their ranks is constant. The requests for more BibleSticks keep coming! During the month of July Bethel is accepting donations to provide our military with BibleSticks. Each unit costs $25. You may make checks payable to Bethel with “Military BibleStick” in the memo line or go to www.bethellutheran.net and click on Donate/Pay—Direct Link to donate online. Thanks for your support as all July donations will be doubled by an anonymous donor!
Attention Parents & Youth: Join us for a potluck on Sunday, July 28 beginning at 11am in the Christ Center. This is a great time to get to know some of the families with youth in our congregation. At this “PEP Rally” (a Parents Group/Youth Group Meeting event), the youth who participated in the Middle & High School service weeks on June 10-13 and July 13-20, will share some highlights of their experiences. Immediately following the lunch and sharing, the parents will break into their room for a PEP Rally—a time of sharing and equipping- the youth will do their youth group meeting and activities. Contact Sedra Raz (firstname.lastname@example.org) to RSVP for this wonderful event!

Official brochures are available in the narthex sign up area and $1,000 deposits per person are being accepted with the registration right now. Since there has been a lot of interest in this trip, you are encouraged to sign up soon if you are interested, so as to hold a spot on the trip. The registrations are based on two to a cabin with no single cabins available, but we are happy to try our best to match people with a cabin mate. Please direct all questions to Pastor John and let him know of your interest in the trip. A signup sheet is located in the narthex sign up area. We have 3 cabins left. A single male needs a single male cabin mate, please contact Pastor John.
