Youth Summer Service: Register today! Registration is ongoing for a Summer Service Week for all youths entering 6th grade to finishing 12th grade. Each day will hold a different serving opportunity to include serving Bethel’s very own Senior Group with various home & yard projects. The week is capped off on Thursday, June 13, with a fun day at Boondocks in Parker, CO! This is not an all or nothing week as the youth may pick the days that they are willing and able to serve. You may also contact the church office to receive an email link to the registration form for this event if you have not already received the link via email from Sedra (719-570-9800 or office@bethellutheran.net).

Summer Worship Format—From Memorial Day Sunday (May 26) through Labor Day Sunday (Sept. 1), Bethel will once again have our summer Sunday schedule of worship. What this means is that each weekend we will continue to have our regular Saturday 5:30 PM worship service and then on Sundays we will have one combined service at 9:15 AM. We basically split the time between the 2 services on Sunday to arrive at the 9:15 AM time format. The music will be a combination of both traditional and contemporary, as we have done in the past, with both types being represented equally. We look forward to an exciting summer of worship together and to your participation to help make it so!
Summer Fellowship: Join us this summer on Sundays for food & fellowship each week after the 9:15 AM service at approximately 10:30 AM. At this time, various groups at Bethel will sponsor/provide a food & fellowship time. The summer schedule for fellowship is as follows: June 2—Graduate Recognition by Youth Ministry; June 9—Mariana Lewis & Friends; June 16 & 23—Inreach Team; June 30—All Church (congregants: bring something to share!); July 7—Music Ministry; July 14—Mariana Lewis & Friends; July 21—Council; July 28—All Church (congregants: bring something to share).

Come Sing with the Choir! The choir is singing on June 9 during the 9:15am service and you are invited to join them. The choir will rehearse Thursday, June 6 at 6:30pm and will sing during the Sunday, June 9 service. If you are interested or would like more information about the choir and this performance, please contact Pastor Dan Lahman at pastordan@bethellutheran.net.
The Believe Sermon Series concludes on June 8 & 9 with a look at the final chapter of the Believe book. On June 1 & 2, the sermon will cover chapter 29.
New Show in the Bethel Art Gallery! The pictures have been changed out in the Bethel Art Gallery. We hope you viewed and enjoyed the previous show that included work by David Lund, Julie Loera & Eric Wulfsberg. Please take this opportunity to thank those artists for sharing their work with the Bethel community. We know you’ll enjoy the new images including photographs from Israel by Margaret Curnow, paintings by Joy Brandvold, drawings by Carl Brandvold and southwestern photographs by Inge Kelly. We are already accepting images for the next show, so if you are interested in having some of your work displayed in the Bethel Gallery, contact Eric Wulfsberg. We are also looking for a new gallery director if you would like to help with updating the Bethel Gallery images. Contact Eric Wulfsberg for details.

Official brochures are available in the narthex sign up area and $1,000 deposits per person are being accepted with the registration right now. Since there has been a lot of interest in this trip, you are encouraged to sign up soon if you are interested, so as to hold a spot on the trip. The registrations are based on two to a cabin with no single cabins available, but we are happy to try our best to match people with a cabin mate. Please direct all questions to Pastor John and let him know of your interest in the trip. A signup sheet is located in the narthex sign up area. We have 3 cabins left. A single male needs a single male cabin mate, please contact Pastor John.
