Koinonia--A Small Group of Christians with a Purpose: This is the last weekend to sign up for Koinonia small groups. If you would like to fellowship with other Bethel members and have an opportunity to get to know each other better, then Koinonia may be for you. Groups of singles and couples will be organized into groups of 8. They will get together every 4-6 weeks for dinner, dessert or appetizers, rotating the host each time. The host will usually provide the main dish and others will supply the sides and dessert. Questions? Contact Joan Skoog or Pat Anderson.

Do you need a place to serve? Is your schedule busy, so you have limited availability? Do you like working with small children? If so, we have the perfect place for you. Bethel is in need of volunteers to assist in the nursery during the Sunday morning services on a regular basis. We only need your help one service per month at either the 8:00 or 10:30 AM service—that is 1 hour per month watching our precious little ones. Please contact Susi Hengel if you can help.

Children’s Ministry Transition Team: Bethel is starting a Children’s Ministry Transition Team to plan, design, and lead activities for families with children. If you would be interested in helping with this team, there will be a meeting on Sunday, September 22nd at 11:45 AM in the Middle School youth room. Kids are invited to attend the meeting as well!

International Potluck at Bethel! On Saturday, September 28 at 6:30 PM in the Christ Center Bethel’s Inreach Team will host an International Pot Luck event. Please bring any kind of food – American, Mexican, Italian, French, African, Scandinavian, etc. to share. It is perfectly fine to bring something from Costco or Sam’s or some other store. Bring your food ready to serve that evening. Desserts will be provided by the Inreach Team. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Wulfsberg.

Volunteer Opportunity: Please prayerfully consider joining a Bethel counting/offering team. The job entails counting offering, monies, and special gifts for the church. There are a number of teams, so the commitment is only one Sunday a month after the second service. Each team has an existing leader, but Bethel needs more volunteers as substitutes or additional permanent members on each team. If you are willing to serve, please utilize the tear-off portion on page 7 and place it in the offering plate. Questions? Please contact Bob Curnow.

Israel—Discover the Depth of our Roots of Faith Study Tour happens June 15-30, 2020. Flyers are available at the welcome center. If you have any interest in this study tour, please contact Stephen Higgins.
