An Overview of Via de Cristo

Bethel is blessed to have two Via de Cristo organizations with which it is affiliated.  In addition to the general overview information found below you can see more specifics on each of these organizations at their respective websites:

Via de Cristo is one of several methods available to the Church to help renew the faith that is already a gift to believers. Through Via de Cristo we are encouraged to persevere and grow in our faith and to strengthen our personal relationships with Jesus Christ.

All events during a Via de Cristo weekend, including the messages, meditations and leisure activities, are supported by prayer and total dependence upon God. The weekend is based upon sound scriptural and Lutheran principles.

Participation in any aspect of the Via de Cristo weekend is totally voluntary.

A Gift for You

Several members of Bethel have experienced the joy of attending a Via de Cristo weekend.  We would like to use these pages to share with you some details of the weekend and suggest you consider whether you would benefit from this experience.  On these pages you will find information to help you understand Via de Cristo.

While the number of people that can attend any given weekend is limited, a Via de Cristo Weekend is available to you at no cost.  This should be considered a gift from God.

The links above will give you additional information covering the following questions.
