Coming in September, Wednesday Night Alive!!! Dinner and classes offered for 10 weeks;
Pastor John will lead a Marriage Enrichment Group,
Marcus will lead a class on Spiritual Disciplines: Developing a More Intimate Relationship with God. This class is geared towards adults, but open to youth. It is for those who desire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and want to learn more about practicing the spiritual disciplines; prayer, reading the scripture, solitude and many more. We will talk about how to develop a rule of life—a plan to engage with God regularly through the spiritual disciplines. Each week we will talk about different disciplines so there will be something for everyone!
Pastor Greg will lead Crossways: A Guide Through the Bible!! Crossways is a study of the Bible and its historical context. We will learn how God shaped his people and prepared them to receive their messiah, Jesus Christ. It will speak to us about how God reveals himself in our lives and prepares us to receive Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. The class book may be used for the whole family or just one person. A Study Bible is recommended, but not required. You may use your own or get one of your liking. Footnotes on the text itself is very helpful. Cost is $65.00. Crossways first order is going in the first week of August. When received it will be divided and labeled with cost attached and ready for distribution by the middle of August. Payment would be due at that time. EXTRA WORKBOOK SETS will be available for $11.95. The second order, if necessary will be placed in the first week of September.
