WOMEN’S RETREAT—Need a Spring break? Plan on joining a group of Bethel women as we travel to Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp for their Extreme Makeover (Prayer Edition) retreat. Michelle Okes, as guest speaker, will lead the sessions. The afternoon schedule for both Friday and Saturday will be open with time to do a craft, hike, receive a massage or get a nap. We will carpool from the church on Thursday, April 15th. The cost is $200.00 for the 3 days. The registration and non-refundable $75 deposit is due March 15th.
EASTER BASKET FOR IHN—We are having our annual collection for IHN during the month of March. Please contribute small personal care items for our guests to use during their stay at Bethel. We are looking for deodorant, toothbrushes, small travel size toothpaste, dental floss, combs, hair accessories, notepads, pens, coloring books and crayons. Look for the “Easter Basket” located in the Welcome Center during the Sundays in March. Thanks.
TASTE OF SMALL GROUPS—On March 20th and 21st in the Narthex, we will provide everyone in the Bethel congregation with an opportunity to discover and learn about all the different small groups available for getting connected and staying connected in our ever growing church community.

EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT—Gabriel Cutshaw is working on an Eagle Scout project to renovate the Sunday School/Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) double door storage closet by the High School Room. We need to identify all groups that have materials in this closet. Please contact Gabriel Cutshaw at rogerc@q.com to let him know what you own in the closet. Please do this no later than March 18. Sunday School Sign-In/Sign-Out Procedure
Parents are reminded to sign-in their children at the Sign-In Table located at the entrance to the Christ Center. Please make sure to include your location and cell phone #. Sign-out occurs in the classroom.
Sunday School Mission Project--Pediatric Hospital Activity Bags (Jan 10-May 16)
The SS children’s offering will go towards purchasing items for activity bags for local Pediatric hospital patients. There will be a Mission Store manned by our 5th/6th grade class in the Christ Center every Sunday from 9:10-9:30am where the SS children may personally pick out items using their offering.

FRIENDS OF BETHEL YOUTH MINISTRY GATHERING: On Sunday March 14, from 12-1:30, the Youth Ministry will be holding a gathering for everyone who is interested in the Youth Ministry (past, present & future) and wants to find out more about the present and future of the Youth Ministry at Bethel. Parents of youth, children, and other adults are strongly encouraged to attend this event. Lunch will be provided and children are welcome. Childcare will be provided for children under 4. A new Coke Machine will be arriving before March 14. It will have more flavors and healthy options as well as bottled water. Proceeds go to the youth, so next time you are thirsty, be sure to wander downstairs!

Understanding Your Teenager (as much as is possible anyway!) Class continues until the end of March during the Sunday School hour in the prayer chapel. It primarily covers ages 13-25. It looks at teenage development and culture as well as giving parents tools to help parents better connect with and communicate with their teens.
Our Senior High Mission Team are currently selling Butter Braids as one of our fundraisers. To order one of these delicious treats, find a member of our mission team or talk to Marcus. March 7 is the last day to order!

WOMEN OF FAITH—“A GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES” Bible Study continues on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 7pm in the Abundant Life room.
UP & ADAM—This Men’s Bible Study meets at 6:30am on Wednesday in the Abundant Life classroom. We are studying the books of the Bible. Join us for donuts and coffee. Wake up calls are provided.

First Communion InstructioN—will take place on Sunday, Mar. 14 from 2-6pm. The cost is $25, which includes the instruction book, a chalice for their 1st Communion and a pizza dinner. The children will also make a banner with their pictures on it & receive ingredients to make communion bread.
The Garden of the Gods chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans—welcomes you to attend a special showing of the Milestones Project at Bethel on March 13 & 14. The Milestones Project is an initiative designed to help parents to teach their children to value and respect people who are different from themselves. Since its inception in 1998, more than 43,000 award winning photographs of the world’s children have been photographed. The goal is to impress on people what the photos make so clear: no matter where we live or how we pray, we are all more alike than different!
NEW MEMBER CLASS: This class will start on Sunday, April 11th. Also meeting on April 18, 25, May 2, 9 and then joining weekend on May 15/16 with the Spaghetti Supper on May 15th. Please see the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
